Clarian Health Medicare Insurance Plans
Clarian Health was formed in 1997 as a collaboration of three downtown Indianapolis hospitals, Methodist Hospital, Indiana University Hospital, and Riley Hospital for Children. All three hospitals are preeminent, state-of-the-art hospitals with long and distinguished histories. They joined together to provide better benefits to the patients and the entire community through shared resources, research, staff and administrative procedures. It was named on the Best Hospitals in America list released by USNews & World Reportfor five consecutive years.
Clarion Health is a private, nonprofit organization with ties to more than 20 hospitals and health centers in their network, including close ties to the Indiana University School of Medicine. More than half of the IU School of Medicine’s 970 physicians are at one of Clarion’s Hospitals to practice, supervise, and teach residents. In addition, the research conducted through the IU School of Medicine leads to the breakthroughs that make a difference in the lives of Clarian’s patients as well as providing Clarian Medicare Insurance.
